Alcantara (Standard) is the brand name of a common synthetic textile material. It has a soft, suede-like microfibre pile and is noted for its durability, composed of about 68% polyester and 32% polyurethane. These materials are what make it particularly resistant to staining.
Velluto (Premium) is an incredibly soft and rich pile velvet weave available in a broad range of colours. The glamour and subtle sheen of the velvet pile, combined with high durability as well as washability, makes this fabric ideal for many interior applications.
